Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy

I'm a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

My background lies predominantly in hospital pharmacy, where I have over 15 years of experience. I have a specialist interest in osteoporosis and since joining the University in 2013, I have continued my practice in this area.

I'm an independent prescriber and work in the Freeman Hospital Bone Clinic one day a week where I see and assess patients with suspected or confirmed osteoporosis. I spend three days a week at the University where I'm module lead for PHA332.

I teach clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice across the undergraduate MPharm programme and contribute to MSc Clinical Pharmacy.

Teaching and supervision

I am Module Leader for MPH327 Diseases Systems: Endocrine and genito-urinary systems on MPharm Pharmacy.

I also teach across the MPharm course on aspects related to clinical pharmacy practice as well as the postgraduate MSc Clinical Pharmacy.
